The West Coast started the major shift toward eating more chicken and fish. Since, they created a mix of seasonings to awaken their taste buds. Inspired by California’s sunny citrus groves, this unique recipe combines coarse Tellicherry black pepper, dried garlic and onion flakes with the tart flavor of lemon and orange peel. Packed with flavor, this blend is very versatile. Great as a salt alternative!

How to use: Try using when you need to cut down on salt. Rub some oil over turkey, then coat with Sonoma Pepper. Do the same with steaks or your favorite fish before grilling. How to use: As a dry rub, use 1-2 tbsp. of Mesa Rosa Chipotle per pound of meat. Coat all sides before cooking. Coat vegetables with a bit of olive oil, then sprinkle with seasoning before grilling. Rub it on steaks, roasts, and chops; or blend into ground beef for mouthwatering burgers and savory meatloaf. Also Sugar-free.

How to use: Rub a bit of olive oil over your desired cuts of meat and coat all sides with a liberal amount of Chicago Steak & Chop. Allow meat to sit for a while before cooking. Use 1-2 tbsp. per pound of ground sirloin for hearty steak burgers and meatloaf.

How to use:

When making pasta sauce, use 1 tsp. per cup of tomato sauce. Use 2-3 tbsp. per quart of bottled pasta sauce to jazz up an easy-to-make meal. Great when sprinkled over chicken breasts with a touch of olive oil. Add a bit to balsamic vinegar and olive oil for a light, flavorful salad dressing that's ideal on sliced tomatoes and mozzarella cheese.

From Malibu to Manhattan, this authentic, southern-style rib rub adds a touch of nutmeg, some freshly ground sage and a little red pepper heat to bring out the flavor of grilled meat dishes and roasts. Adds just the right zip for a hearty barbeque sauce.

 

How to use:

Use 1 tbsp. per pound of meat and sprinkle it on after the meat has cooked about half way. Use on pork roasts, chops and chicken. Can also be added to barbeque sauce or tomato sauce when you're in the mood for a sizzling BBQ.

Combine spices with fresh lime juice, orange juice, soy sauce and olive oil, then marinate meat for 1 hour or more and either grill or bake. Reduce marinade after cooking, and pour over meat.

    8 oz. cream cheese, softened
    16 oz. sour cream
    2 green onions, chopped
    1 4oz. can green chilies
    4 T RIO GRANDE chili blend
    1 head Iceberg lettuce, chopped
    1 tomato, diced
    1 c.Cheddar cheese, grated
    1 can black olives, sliced

    In medium bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, RIO GRANDE chili blend, green onions and chilies. Spread mixture in bottom of serving dish and top with lettuce, cheddar, & olives.
    How to Use It...
    Use this in any recipe that calls for chili powder. Use 2 Tbsp. per quart of tomato sause as a base. This is also great seasoning for grilling chicken, pork or beef. Just rub it on and grill.

    How to Use It...
    Curried Lime Shrimp BBQ:
    1 lb uncooked shrimp cleaned & peeled, 2 large red peppers 1” pieces, 3 limes, ½ cup white wine, 2 Tbsp Curry Row, 1 Tbsp Sonoma Pepper, Wood Skewers
    Juice lime in bowl. Add wine, Curry Row & Sonoma Pepper. Whisk together. Add shrimp & red pepper. Coat evenly. Refrigerate for 2 hrs. Soak wooden skewers in water. Skew shrimp & peppers on skewers. Grill until shrimp are pink on med heat. Place remaining marinade in saucepan. Heat & reduce. Pour over cooked shrimp.
